|Instead of choosing Safe mode from the Windows loading choices menu, try choosing|
- Disable automatic restart.......
If you then get a blue screen message,
- quote the STOP: 0Xx0000xx error (we don't need the stuff in brackets beside that)
- if there is a problem file named, it's often near the end of the text - tell us what that is
- if it mentions a mini dump file was made, that file can be analyzed
- Enable VGA mode
That loads Windows normally except it forces Windows to use default VGA graphics.
If that gets you to the desktop screen, if Windows works fine ignoring the symptoms caused by the video being VGA, your problem is probably related to your specific video drivers. They can be un-installed in Enable VGA mode - they often cannot be un-installed in Safe mode.
