XP on master and slave

I need to copy files from an old drive with xp to a new drive with xp. Old drive setup as slave. Cannot see drive to copy files to new master (C:) drive. Thanks.
Make sure that the bios sees the other drive. If not, go into bios and setup hard drive to auto so that it will recognized the hard drive. It doesn't matter if it is fat32 or ntfs. XP will see both with no problem.

"if both drives are not using the fat32 file system, they won't see each other."
Fat32 formatted drives can't see ntfs formatted drives... but ntfs can see fat32.
