I need to share files between my laptop and desktop, both are brand new computers, and I just purchased a Linksys wireless router, and a Linksys wireless network card. I can access the internet through both machines but I cannot get the computers to share files. I have both "C:" drives shared w/o a firewall. Both computers are members of the "MSHOME" Workgroup, but when I try to "View workgroup computers" it gives me the error "Mshome is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact admin. to find out if you have access permissions.

The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available". Can anyone give me some feedback as to what I should do?

make sure both computers have sharing installed. to do this goto my network places, on the left hand side click on view network connections, right click the bottom icon and goto properties, click on install, select service, then select file and print sharing. Check now if it works. And are you logged on as a administrator.
