Hi there, I am trying to network two XP computers for file and printer sharing - I ran the set-up that came with XP (create a network connection) but to no avail it is telling me that I do not have access to that computer. I can see the computer on the workgroup, but I can't access any of the shared documents or set up a shared Printer. I have uninstalled Zone Alarm and McAfee firewall that was on the Pc, and have also disabled the XP firewall. Now this morning I can't even see the other PC's, and to add insult to injury it becomes non-responsive and I get the "Not Responding" message. Is it just me or is XP very unstable ? I've never had so many crashes on a system in my entire PC life ! If someone could offer some suggestions I would be so appreciative. In my network connections I have a Lan or Highspeed Internet 1394 connection - Enabled...then I have a network bridge under it it says Local Area Connection 4 Enabled, Bridged and Network Enabled Mac Bridge Miniport. Thanks heaps Kushla
