I am having a problem with a peer to peer xp network. Desktop is running xp home, connected to a D-Link 614+ wireless hub/cable modem which is connected to the cable modem. I am trying to access the desktop from my laptop that is running xp pro. The laptop is able to access the internet via the wireless hub and it "sees" the desktop but when I try to access the desktop I get an error msg "it is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resource... The network path was not found."
Why am I able to see it but not access it and what do I have to do to correct this. Thanks for your help. John

John, you either don't have administrator rights to do so, OR you put password OR You have not enabled sharing the folder on the network---->for this, Right Click on the folder, and then Sharing and Security. Check that box, and boom!! Let me know if it works John. Goodluck.
