this seems like a very stupid problem.
i have 3 PCs, all running xp pro sp2. all only have admins accounts. setup a network. they all see each other exept 1. comp "A" the 1 i use most of the time, can see the other 2, can get in their shared files, etc. but comp "B" and "C" just can't see comp "A".
when trying to add a network place in comp "B" it does see comp "A" but its as if comp "A" is not sharing any files. and it is.
i think the problem has something to do with the following. comp "A" was the 1st one i set-up before i knew what i'm doing, so after the network wizard finished i looked at the help topics and found some option somewhere to setup and user name and password. now from comp "B" when you go to workgroups it does see comp "A" and you can log into it with the password, but it is a pain to do it that way so i wanna get rid of the password and have it work the normal way. i do remember the username and password but i can't find any option or any place where it is stored or how to change it, i can't even find where and how i originally set it up.

In Windows HELP, click Index, then type:
walkthroughs
Below that double click "Networking"
Tells all about how to connect computers,
and setting up your network.
Run the Wizard on the Host computer, make
the floppy, and run the floppy on each of the
Client computers.
Need to have all computers on, and shared printer. How to search for a computer on the network in Windows XP
How to troubleshoot home networking in Windows XP
How to troubleshoot wireless network connections in Windows XP Service Pack 2

i did all that. the netwrok works. i just have a problem at 1 end, and how do i get rid of the password.
