Just tried to create a MS-Dos Bootable Floppy diskette in XP Pro a few minutes ago so I could use it to flash my MB Bios. So I formated the 3.5" Diskette, then selected 'Create an MS-Dos Startup Disk' After this was done, I restarted XP with the disk in the drive, and it booted up, but then I got a error message saying something like: 'File Missing C:\Windows\Command.com' This error looks like it would come from a Win9x machine, not my XP Pro rig?
I don't get it. I looked on the MS KnowledgeBase, but nothing. Anyone have any ideas.
Thanks

Actually, you just created a WinMe boot floppy. Honest! It really is!! Hopefully you have a Win98 boot disk around. Or search the net for a boot floppy.

Courtney: creating an XP Boot Disk;
(assumes your cab files have been copied to your hard drive)insert floppy in Drive A:
open the Command Console; click Start, Run, type: cmd
and press the Enter key.
press the Enter key after typing each of the following commands at the Command Console prompt:1. CD C:\
2. FORMAT A:
3. COPY C:\I386\NTLDR A:\
4. COPY C:\I386\NTDETECT.COM A:\5. ATTRIB -R -H -S C:\BOOT.INI
6. COPY C:\BOOT.INI A:\
7. ATTRIB +R +H +S C:\BOOT.INI
write-protect the floppy before storing.
or you can download boot disks from:
http://www.bootdisk.com
and for XP Pro:
