Can anyone tell me why media player wont playback video files i download from imesh?
it opens the files (which work on my friend's xp setup) but says error downloading codec?

Go to the WMP Help file and type in codecs. You must be missing codecs to play those files. You are on-line when WMP is trying to get the codecs ?

I need help...
Everytime i try to play a video on XP Media Player it wont work because it says "Error downloading Codec" do any of you know how i could fix this problem i have tried going to the websites posted on here but i cant figure this out...

Go to www.divx.com Download the divx player and when installing select only the codec. Media Player will now work.
