Hello, Is there a way to make the logon and shutdown screen look like in win 2000? so that you have a real prompt, not a colorful screen with 3 buttons, i want the one with the dropdown menu. Is that possible?

You can go to control panel > user accounts > change the way users log on. I don't think you will get a drop down list though, the reason they give the option of this screen is to be more secure. So one would have to type in the name and then match it with a password, that way it would have 2 variables instead of 1. If you had a drop down list it would negate that effect.

While you're at the login screen, you can hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and It should take you to the classic win2000 login that you are used to.
