Hi,
Im using XP on a TCPip network so when you plug into the network you need your username, pword and domain, no problem there.
When your not on the domain you can still log in cos Xp caches by defaul 10 last users, so thats ok BUT....
When not on the network and a new user needs to use the laptop... how can they log in, cos XP has never seen them before so doesnt know them?
Any help most appreciated

You can create local user accounts on the Laptop.

XP requires that the user autenticate when loging on, this can be done via a domain account on the server or a local account on the laptop.
