XP Lock up on reboot (fix)

To fix lock up on reboot from ram dump on XP
I got this fix after I was told I have a Virus on my computer. I was told to reformat my harddrive and spent 20 hour reloading and updating all my software, when all I needed was a 5 min fix !!!!!
1.Go to my computer 2. Click on Local Disk (c) 3. OPEN windows folder. 4. OPEN Minidump folder. 5. Delete any files in folder. 6. Close all windows 7. Open Control Panel 8. Open System 9. click on Advanced tab 10. under Performance click on Settings 11. under Performance Options click on Advanced 12. under Virtual memory click on change write down the Initial size (MB) and the Maximun size (MB) 13. click the circel next to No paging file 14. click the Set button 15. click Ok tell you are back to desk to 16. RESTART Computer. No your not done Yeta 17. open Control Panel 18. Click on System 19. click on Advanced tab 20. under Performance click on Settings 21. under Performance Options click on Advanced tab 22. under Virtual memory click on Change 23 click on the on custom size under Intial size (MB) reenter the number you wrote down do the same under Maximun size (MB). 24. click on Set button 25. click OK tell you are back to desk top 26. RESTART Computer and smile !!!!!!
