When you set up 2 0r 3 XP machine on a LAN network and you can share & transfer files, how do you set the passwords and permissions for the Drives, folders & files you want to share for each user ??

For a peer to peer network, uncheck the "Use Simply File Sharing" in the Tools, Folder options, View tab (down at the bottom). This is only for the XP Pro version, Home doesn't work the same way (see XP post 27171 for one way of doing it).
