XP keeps logging me out by itself

This never happened before and I don't remember making any changes to cause it. Whenever I leave my PC for a while it returns to the welcome screen. It has not logged me out because it says "logged in" when I hover the mouse pointer over my username - it's more like the "fast user switching" thing. I don't want this to happen at all! Does anyone know how to turn this annoying feature off?

go to your screen saver setting and de-select on resume password protect. If you didn't want faster user switching then you can change at the control panel,user accounts,pick a task,change the way users log on or off then chose "use the welcome screen".
