Try enabling the blue screen, so you can actually know what is causing your problem... Start->Control Panel->System->Advanced->StartUp and Recovery->Settings->. Then under "System Failure" uncheck "Automatically restart".

well U can also try restartin in safe mode and or selecting to boot with good last known by pressin f8 at da start of XP just at da begenin of boot. In safe mode if its start fine, then surely some conflicts or some program clash is goin just diagnose n try tracin such activities.
