I just installed Windows XP Corporate and it hangs on the first reboot. I just get the XP splash screen and it hangs there. I can get into safe mode but not safe mode with networking. It keeps hanging at mup.sys. I have reinstalled several times and this is a brand new computer. I have a FIC motherboard, Athlon 1700+ XP, ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon 7500, Soundblaster Live 5.1, and Dlink 10/100 Ethernet card. Any Ideas?

Try pulling out non-essential cards (everythig but the graphics card). In many cases, it is an Ethernet card, modem or sound card that is hanging the installer. Once Windows XP is up and running, you can add these cards one at a time.
