after install winxp the drive letter is D i want to change that back to C how do i???

Hi

There may be an easier way, but this will do it.

Go to Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Computer Management / Disk Management

Right Click on Drive and select "Change Driver Letter and Path"

That won't work. You cannot change the system drive letter in Disc Management.

You might be able to do it this way - http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;223188
