I'm trying to install XP over 98. During the process, I chose the option that will delete the previous OS and install XP like new. After one of the restarts that happenes during the XP install, the computer freezes. No video, no CD-ROM activity... nothing. Any ideas what's wrong?

you should keep the win98 files, because upgrading from xp disk, its uses many of the drivers from the win98 install.
