I am trying to install win xp, and the install crashes everytime the install reaches the 35 minute mark. There is no indication of what is causing the problem, the computer previously had win 2k on it with no problems. Any ideas, thanks?

Ssounds like a hardware problem. Try installing with only the bare minimum hardware ... ie remove modems/ sound cards etc ...then replace one by one after a sucessful installation.

Hmm, could be over heating. Check your fan on your CPU.
