I've got a problem. I'm trying to create a single XP image to deploy to 1000+ workstations & laptops across my company. The sum of workstations/laptops in my company includes Compaq Deskpro ENDs, ENLs, & ENMs, Dell Latitude LS laptops, Compaq Evo N610c notebooks, and Compaq Evo D510 desktops. Anywho... I've been trying to create one solid image to use on all hardware, but when I build an image on one machine... it doesn't always work on another. Usually it gets through about half the of text mode of the OS load (as in watching it load via Safe Mode)... and then it'll either hang or auto-reboot over and over again. Looks like it seems to be hanging on (or around) the loading of the agp440.sys. Anybody have any ideas what I can do to get around this??? Please???

Let me get this straight...you're trying to build one image of XP...an OS that is highly sensitive to even ONE change in hardware configuration...and use that image on many different types of systems? I doubt you'll ever get it to work.

Well... I've already got a single image that works across 2 desktops and 2 laptops. ;) I'm just got 2 more desktop model types that are giving me trouble. Believe me... it's possible. I just have to figure out the issue above and I'll be golden!!!
