I just recently having problem with IE6 and Hotmail. Everytime I login the browser freezes for 10 seconds before it resumes again, this also happens whenever I click anywhere on the link that would take me within hotmail. I also tried to change the Internet Options/Security and Cookie options but still no fix. Anyone experiencing this? I am using Windows XP Pro and this only happens whenever I log into hotmail, nowhere else. I would think it must be the hotmail html script that is making this problem.

I'm getting the same thing. The browser freezes for exactly the same time every time, even though the page is done loading, and it will resume normally after. IT is extremely annoying, and it only does it with hotmail.

Hey I just saw this on another board (not sure if it works but worth a shot)

Go to control panel and unistall MSN Messenger, then download and reinstall latest version of Messenger and it should fix the problem.

In case anyone was wondering, here's how you uninstall Windows Messenger in Windows XP...

Go to Start, Run and paste the following:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

This resolved my Hotmail woes!
