Hello, i need some help regarding connecting the xp home with novell and lanmark. the problem is that i am being able to connect and see the server and network drives but when on login into novell the login script is giving me an error message (i.e: error 8804) and lanmark cannot access the drives . Im having some similar problems with Novell being connected to a dedicated XP server. Seems that the 7 computers in this LAN are haveing master browser problems. Netware 4.11 is having some trouble running with another machine that has XP in the loop. Whenever a large data transfer is started from the novell server to the XP server, seems that novell wants to force its "Master Browser script" onto XP and XP not running any novell stuff on it doesnt accept it. But heres the weird thing. It then drops all mapped drives to all the other machines. Meaning that all the other clients cannot access XP drive anymore even when rebooted. The XP server has to be rebooted for it to re-connect. Im still trying to figure out if this is a novell problem or XP problem. Ive read alot on Novell's website and its looking to be a Novell problem, but Im trying to make sure before I go and take this novell printer server out of the loop.
