doing a clean reload of xphome...questioisafter the restore of xp,will I have access to the cd, or do I nee a boot disk. If so, how can I make one?

access to the physical XP CD? or the cdrom drive, u will have access to the cdrom unless it requires special drivers. to make a boot disk go to bootdisk.com and download a windows 98 boot disk or you can right click on your a: drive and select format and check the box that says MS-DOS boot disk

That has to be the most unclear post that has been posted here in a week or more.

How can you install XP if you do not already have an XP CD? -- ??? Boot Disk ???

Take the time to type a message that makes it clear what you are doing (reinstalling XP) and what you want us to help you with.

Someone will be happy to answer your questions.
