XP home On Novell 3.12???

My boss bought a HP pavilion Ze5170 with XP home edition. We have novell 3.12 server running.
Is ther any way that I can put this notebook on network? Is it at all possible? Is it recommended to have XP home on network? What about XP pro.? Please help me.

You would need to install the client software: Client Service for Netware
I don't know if it's available in the Home edition but it is in Pro. Open your Network Properties and click the Install button, then highlight Client and click Add.

It is better to use windows 2000 pro on your client computers. I have notice windows XP home and pro both have very sluggish network performance.
Had the same missing client on my notebook. Had to install the NWLink ipx/spx/netbios compatible protocol first then the client service for netware showed up in the install client window.
