I am trying to Connect a xp home edition laptop to our domain network
As a home edition cannot connect to a domain , I have provided the domain name in the workgroup . Now all network resource are available on the laptop ( the server and client computers in the domain )
But reverse is not happening .
The domain network does not have the permissions to access the laptop although the drives are shared.

"Now all network resource are available on the laptop ( the server and client computers in the domain )"
That is very interesting. Can you also utilize these resources or just see them? How do you authenticate on the Domain? Are you prompted for a login? If you can actually see and use these network resources without authenticating then I would question the security of the domain itself. If you can use them then so can anyone else.
