I have a Dell running XP Home, and my internet service consists of dialing into an NT4 RAS, then authenticating with a proxy server, which then sends me to the Internet. I can connect to the RAS, but I get a 407 error when I attempt talking to the proxy. Three password attempts, and it's no go. Any clues?

There are two places you have to set the proxy, both on the dial up connection and in internet explorer, if you go into ie option, connections and set the proxy on both the Dial up connection (by clicking setitngs) and on the Lan Settings.
