Hello Everyone,

I am having a strange problem. I am running a 4 computer network at my store. 1 Win 2k server, 1 windows me, 1 xp professional edition, and 1 xp home edition. All running dsl through ms proxy.

Now here's the problem. When I turn on both xp systems, for some reason, they loose connection to the network. With one xp machine off, the other works fine and vice versa. Windows ME system, never has a problem. I have tried to give admin rights thinking that might help, but didn't.

What am I doing wrong? Both xp systems have different IP addresses and show no conflict there. Has anyone seen xp home and xp pro fight like this?

Advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Jennifer

I have XP pro and a Windows Me machine on net work that set up fine. You might try running the network wizard on XP Pro CD on all machines to finish network setup.
No expert, just a thought.
