Comment:

Just recently installed XP Home edition with Service Pack 1. Sometimes when I attempt to access a website using IE6, MSN Explorer will open asking me to sign in. If I kill the window, then I seem to be "offline" and unable to connect to any site.

I do not use MSN as my ISP! I want to keep Microsoft Messenger, but this MSN Explorer is ticking me off! How can I get rid of it, and keep Messenger?

Thanks - Jeigh

Add/Remove programmes.

Add/Remove Windows Components.

Select MSN for removal.

Thanks for the reply.

I had already checked there. MSN Explorer is not listed in Add/Remove programs.

Any other ideas?

Thanks again!

You have to click the 'Add/Remove Windows Components' button on the left side in Add/Remove programs window. This will bring up a list of pre-installed 'components'.
If u now untick MSN Explorer it will offer to remove it 4 u :)
