XP Help files

For some reason I can no longer access the XP help files from the start menu. I click on help & support and nothing happens. What gives? Everything else works and the help used to work.

If you used easycleaner to clean your registry it wipes out the help reference in the registry. If this is the case, go to easycleaner and read the readme file.

Well I have used other registry cleaners, maybe that is what did it. Question is how can I recover the help files without reloading windows?

You can try turning on the services you have turned off. I don't recall which one or one's it needs, but I had the same problem and ended up reinstalling windows before I found out about the easycleaner problem. Good luck.
