Comment:

I was running XP pro on a PIII 933 with 768 meg and a WD 40 gig, however it booted up as command problem, I got it to boot up with a second harddirve on 98se. It then shows 2 identical hard dirves besides the one that booted. Both harddrives show to be full and filled with identically the same programs, I tried to format, wound up deleting all info on both drives except the 98se. It will not allow me to format or write to the harddrive. I now can't get cmos to recognize it is even there. Any ideas. Bill

Try unpluging one then boot to see if you can format it or run scan disk to see if its a ghost drive
