xp hang up during install

I tried several times before. Perhaps someone has solved the crime meanwhile... When I try to install xp and restart the computer hangs up after loading the drivers. It is not the RAM. I checked it. It doesn't seem to be the RAID controller I updated the newest XP drivers. Has anyone experienced problems with the Elitegroup board K7VTA3 1.0? Or with the Geforce3 Ti 200? System: XP1700+ Elitegroup K7VTA3 1.0 512MB RAM 2x30GB Maxtor (Raid 0) Abit Hot Rod 100 Pro Raid controller Gainward Geforce3 Ti 200 128MB Lite ON 16x DVD Acer 24X Writer
Can you complete the load without the RAID card and using only one hard drive? Different video card? Trial by substitution is probably the best way to find a fix.

It is your Geforce video card. This has been reported many times and the solution is to use another video card during intallation and then when XP is up and running well, install the GeForce video card. This seem to work for many.
