I have tried everything to fix this problem. As alot of people well know i have been posting about this problem for awhile now hoping to get new fresh ideas to solve it.

Cpu Specs

Biostar M7vib w/ newest bios available
Amd Xp 2000+ .18 die
Newly installed Xaser 11 heatsink/ Fan
Geforce Fx 5200 ultra w/ latest drivers
Acoustic edge psc706 w/ latest drivers
2 hd's both with no bad sectors
One stick of 128mb ram and another 512mb stick

Well in the past i had this same problem but somehow managed to fix it. All i remeber doing was changing the core voltage down by -.1 V and adding the new xaser11 fan. But now that i have reformatted the freezing is back.
I have even reformatted and installed xp without acpi support so it runs under standard pc but still freezes...
Heres the link to view my only conflicst/sharing and irq settings in windows xp.

Can someone help me?

You need to change your thinking. You are hung up on how you fixed it last time. My question is Did you really fix it last time or is it one of those intermittent problems that just happened to go away at that time only to resurface later??

More detective work required.

You be correct! heh

I shifted my thinking and for this whole day have disabled various drivers and left my computer doing things while i was working out. Froze on almost all the driver that i disabled except for the cursed acoustic edge sound card. I disabled the audio driver and guess what no freezing.... but also no sound....

Hi,

The best bet is to run ur computer on
completly minimal hardware and add a part
at a time to diagnose. I had a similar
problem which annoyed me for ages. Turned
out it was the ram, i changed the ram
modules around and the system is running
perfectly. Funny things these computers.

Good luck.
