XP freezes while running screen saver

Hey All,

I'm running XP Pro. Most everything is working fine, except when the screen saver is going. Then XP locks up after about 30-35 minutes.

PC Stats -
MSI MS-6380 K7T266 Pro
512MB DDR RAM
AMD 1.3GHz Athlon
Pine GeForce2 nVidia MX400 64M video card
Crystal 4281 sound card
Linksys 10/100 NIC

I've downloaded and installed all the latest XP updates from MS.
BIOS has been flashed with the latest.
Mobo chips are running the latest drivers for the board.
I tried different screen savers, all froze up in the same timeframe.

I think I've narrowed it down to the video card or a RAM problem.
Swapped out the RAM. Tried one in, then only the other. Still same problem.

Figured I see if anyone else is having the same issue.

Anyone?? Ideas? Suggestions?

ur computer on network?
i had the same problem bcause i had firewall installed..maybe it is that problem bcause once i unistalled my firewall,xp doesnt freeze no more!

I won't be much help but I have the same problem. I have no firewall, though. Strange...:( For now I just stopped using screensavers...

The only network I have is my home one. No Firewall installed though.
