OS: Windows XP Pro
CPU/Ram: PIII - 500MHz
Comment:

I recently installed Windows XP Pro and it just freezes everytime at start-up. I could boot it under safe-mode.
Something that i have noticed however, it would start-up with no probs if i would restart from safe-mode.
**it freezes on the part where you would see the xp logo on a black background with a bar below it ( the moving thingy under it )**

thanks for any help. =)

if you press F8 during startup, you can select boot logging mode, which will show on the screen each file as it is loaded....

from this, you can tell which file and hopefully which driver is causing the problems......

I'de be interested to know from all of you, what hardware you have..... wonder if it is the same thing causing the problems with each of you....

No similar hardware.
Im just working with my laptop now, trying to boot my desktop PC.
Almost desperate with the problem...

I am just wondering if it might be the video board. Incompatibility or something....

(already done more than 30 boots in all mods and no luck).

Il let u know the latest news..
