I just recently installed Windows XP, My previous hard drive had blew up, and I got a new hard drive and installed Windows XP, It seems when I leave the computer and come back the computer is frozen on the screen saver, can't hit ALT/CTRL/DELT. the keyboard and mouse don't function. I tried turning my power saving options off, doesn't seem to help.

My Specs
Windows XP Home 2002.
1400 AMD Athlon
80 GB Diamond maxtor Pro 9 series Hard Drive
512 MB Memory. VIA technologies
IBM Motherboard.
All in one RADEON WONDER.My bios is old July 2001. I have upgraded both the memory and the Hard drive in the last year.
My Computer is randomly freezing once in awhile and always freezes when I leave it over night, run all the virus scans no virus, Did registry scan with Norton System works 2003. fixed all registry errors.
I am thinking maybe BIOS is the problem, I am not sure how to update it.
Or maybe conflicting hardware, it mostly seems to freeze when I leave it for a bit and then come back and my keyboard or mouse don't work. Turned off Hibernate, and Turned off Hard disk, and all other things in power options.
Can U help me.
Jerry
