Hi all,
I've been having a problem over the last couple of days, and am at my wits end. I recently had to format and reload XP on my work computer due to a crash and total data loss. The computer now has been up and running for 2 days and in about half of the programs running shows text in the wrong font. For instance, my mail client, Mozilla: all of my emails when displayed are in a weird script font. In Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, the Properties Panel Group, now displays in what appears to be Arial Bold. I've also noticed this in Symantec's PC Anywhere 10.5.
I tried swapping out my Font directory with my boss's, who is running the same set of programs and version of XP as me. Upon rebooting, I received an error msg that VGAOEM.FON was missing from the Windows\System directory. I then extracted it from my XP install disk and booted fine into Windows ... but I'm still having the font problem.
Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
