My computer has been working fine after installing Windows-XP except that the sound is missing. XP recognized ESS Allegro PCI audio (WDM) as the installed sound device. The Device manager lists it as working properly, there are no conflicts, all the sound drivers are installed (Legacy), the sound device is turned on. I've instaled the XP drivers from ESS web page but with no use, so I rolled back to the previous drivers. Motherboard is a Camaro-1.5c with a Pentium 550Mhz processor and ESS ES-Allegro 1989s sound chip built in. Any ideas? Thanx. Vic
