Ok, Asus eee pcs come with the hard drive already partitioned into two large partitions, C: is something like 80 gigs, and D: is 60 or so. I downloaded the beta for windows 7 and set it up to dual boot, no problem. Decided that I wanted to try Ubuntu, so I formatted the Win7 beta partition (D), but when my computer boots up it still goes to the dual boot selection screen, even though it cannot load Win7 if I select it. Anyone know how to get it back to just boot straight to the main, or only, OS for that matter?
PS: I havent done anything with or tried to install Ubuntu yet, just threw that in to explain why i was formatting D

Right click on My Computer > Properties > Advanced tab. Click the Settings button under Startup & Recovery. Under System Startup, click the Edit button, then edit the Windows 7 lines out of the boot.ini file.
As for Ubuntu, I suggest you try running it directly off the live CD. If you wanna actually install it, try using WUBI
