I have four machines, three 2000 and 1 XP.
I set them up to and with a fixed IP address they can view each other perfectly. The IP addresses are 192.168.0.1 -4 1 is on the XP machine the others are all on 2000.
the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 on all the machines, and rest of the info is blank.
The problem is the XP machine after being left for a few days, now cannot see anything else on the network. Has anyone got any ideas?
