xp drivers? where are they?

help ive upgraded but can't find any new drivers for my system and i need them i have these components: scanner 1200 dpi USB Scanner Modem Conexant SoftK56 Data,Fax PCI Modem Printer Canon BJC-1000 Sound, video and game controllers 3dfx Voodoo3 TV VFW dvd drive nec dvd rom dv-5700A mouse Logitech MouseWare Drivers
and can someone explain why and how i have to upgrade nearly all my programs (i.e. my dvd movie player program)

Check the web pages of the manufacturers of your equipment for XP ugrades of the drivers/software. If you're lucky you might get MOST of them.

Doesn't Xp have drivers for all those items...i know that the modem that you have is the same I had and XP had a driver for it built in...did you try installing the hardware already?
