XP doesn't load

whenever i turn on the computer it restarts before it even gets to the windows xp load up screen, i tried to boot with the cd and reformat but when it finishes loading up the files the computer just restarts again and does the same thing again. I tried different hard drives and the same thing happened on both. can anyone help me please? i have the aopen mk7a motherboard if its a motherboard problem
