Hey, i havent seen this problem come up yet, so hope u can help me. XP wont let me choose my background... its stuck with the same background - rele annoying me! i try to change it but the backgrounds are all like greyscaled out.. and choosing an image then right clicking it (set as destop bg) doesnt work either! pleaseeeeeee help :D

Have you used any tweaking programs? This can be caused by an incorrect setting. It may also be because of some spyware/adware running on your computer. Install, update and scan using the first three tools on this page.
