Hi, I have XP Pro running on a new PC. The following started to occur after using System Restore. After selecting "Turn Off" XP pauses to do 2 tasks. A popup alerts me that it is closing "explore.exe" a countdown starts, but I just select "End now" and it closes. Then the same thing happens to alert me that it is closing "Connections Tray" and I am given the choice to "End now" before the countdown ends. XP does shut down by it's self if left alone but was wondering what I can do to restore the previously brief shutdown procedure shut down procedure.
Many thanks,
Steven Nassibian
