Almost everytime I start-up I get a critical error, when I veiw the problem there are two files; C:\docume~1\dhillo~1\locals~1\temp\wer1.tmpdir00\sysdata.xml
and
C:\minidump\mini090301-01.dmp
I look for these files but can't find them.
The system will just restart itself every once in a while!

you can't find them because they are the files xp will try to send to microsoft, and you are rightly selecting not to send. if you want to look at them then leave the critical error message on screen and they will be there. when you close the error message they will be erased. they won't be any good to you anyway.
