My computer is crashing and restarting at random intervals. It seems to happen more frequently when it's not in use. I copied this data from the event log:
Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000030, parameter2 00000006, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 f77169a0.

-Any help much appreciated.

Have you turned off Automatic Restart on error so that the full BSOD error is displayed?
In Control Panel> System> Properties> Advanced tab click on the settings button in System Startup and Recovery section. Untick the Automatically Restart box.

Next time it crashes write down the exact error and post back here with the details.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

No ATI vid card, though I am using their Remote Wonder II. I did disable the auto restart on error feature, anyone have a way to copy that screen to a txt file?

Also interesting behavior - when I turn on my computer and let it sit on the windows login welcome screen, it seems to restart on it's own about every 10 minutes.
