Specs: Windows XP
I have XP SP2 installed in my laptop. Suddenly virus attacked and nothing was functioning, specially any EXE file. I have lost my original XP CD and had a OEM XP CD. I used the OEM CD to reinstall XP over the current one, and now its saying ''This copy of Windows is not genuine; you may be a victim of software counterfeiting''. I cannot use internet, no USB drives are recognized!!! Then I have created a boot CD and tried to boot from that CD so that I can completely remove XP and related files from DOS and install XP from the scratch. Now, Boot Disk does not recognize internal hard-drive. I cannot go to C drive. Any solution?

Dunno if you boot disk fully supports your hardware so I can't say.

Why don't you contact the OEM and get a new recovery disk and do it the right way?
