I've been watching DVDs on my PC fine for a while until i downloaded a program called Xmpeg 5 to compress and make backups of my DVDs.
It worked fine the first time, but now my PC has become really unstable and seems to randomly shutdown and reboot with a message saying "windows has recovered from a serious error" after it reboots. Also whenever i now try to watch a DVD (from the disc) using realplayer i get loads of red and blue pixels spoiling the picture.
Has anyone else had any experience of this? or have any advice for me? This PC is only 2 weeks old today and I'm hoping i dont have to take it back!
