First – please download and run Spybot Search & Destroy; http://www.safer-networking.org Short tutorial and download link here: http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/ check for updates; and then scan, and fix all RED items that Spybot finds. Reboot when done. Then download/update 'Hijack This!' 1.97.0.7 new version http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip Unzip/extract all… Double click on hijackthis.exe..and complete the install. Run HijackThis, Press Scan, copy and paste its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, so don't fix anything yet. Post the full log including header info here in reply.

Hows the CPU after the SSD scan and removal? Could you close all open IE browser windows and have Hjt scan and fix the following.. One other thing; Uncheck all hidden and system files, Could you do a thorough search on all the ".wmv" files on your system. Get a feel for their number and size and see if it's what you would expect from media player and related type files. If bandwidth usage is high, check for downloads from motionslow.espn.go.com. and check whether they might be draining system resources. ie. if espn stuff is still running, find and kill digstream.exe from task manager and see if that shows improvement.
