Coming off a clean reboot, load a game and play. About 15 minutes into it, The Game locks up and shuts down. This Game has been moved (via uninstall, reboot, and reinstall) to a different drive but problem continue, check the Event Log Viewer and found the below error description. THe system is clean except the game and the OS. There is a Firewall but I shut it down completely before the reboot to make it clean and no, I already took it out of msconfig.
The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( True Vector Engine ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event:

Baldur's GateZoneAlarm has to be the Problem

I find if an older game or program cannot be installed by
way of the CD then use "Program Compatibility Wizard" to install it.If the game is installed, but will not start by way of
the CD, then when inserting the CD hold down the left
Shift key for approx. 15 sec. to keep AutoRun from taking over.
Now click the game in the "All Programs" list. Should start.
---------------
From a Microsoft web page:If an older application gives you trouble when running
Windows XP, you can set the compatibility properties
manually so that the program runs in a different mode,
such as Windows 95, or in a different display or resolution
setting. To set the compatibility properties for a program:
1. Right-click the executable or the program shortcut to the
executable, and then click Properties.
2. Select the Run this program in compatibility mode check box.
3. From the list, select an operating system that the program
runs in comfortably.
4. If necessary, also change the display settings and/or
resolution, or disable the Windows XP visual themes.
Run the program again when you?re finished changing the
settings. Adjust the compatibility settings again if the
program is still not running smoothly: a program that's
unhappy on Windows 2000 may flourish on Windows 98.

My Starcraft v.1.0 does great.

Chuck,I see and understand what you are saying but 8 out of 10 of the games above are Compatibile with Windows XP. But I am still beleive that ZoneAlarm and with All of its updates is causing the problem. All the games work on other computers with problem but this computer is the only one with ZoneAlarm.

Heat maybe a factor. Take an air can to your machine and make sure you have enough air flow inside. Clean every fan you can.
Also, just for testing... disable ZoneAlarm and it's True Vector service. In the options of ZoneAlarm (its kind of hidden) you will find a check box that mentions something like... Do not allow programs to access the internet when ZoneAlarm is shut off. What happens is if the program is flaged with either a question mark or an "X" the True Vector service of ZoneAlarm will not allow it to access the internet.
Make sure you have all the latest drivers for your machine. Latest DirectX (9 is out and been sweet for me) and the latest Dets 41.80 (42.01 now) have been problem free as well.
Dets are available here:

Ok,
Cooling for the CPU are via Dragon Orbs on boot processors.
There are 3 intake 80mm fans on bottom front panel and 3 output 80mm fans on top back panel. As far as the dust, there is next to none. The computer case itself is in a clean enviroment along with the other 3 computer I have on the Network. But as I said Network is not the issue. ZoneAlarms is only on my main box.
Have the latest drivers for everything because I run a check list once a week. This problem has been happening for a couple months.
As for ZoneAlarm, I have still had the problem with ZoneAlarm shutdown and I NIC disabled, now the is no modem inside my computer at all. Anything that could make a Network or Internet request is shutdown. Now I found out that the True Vector Engine is still in the Processes stack, so what I am going to do is disable that service in the Services of Windows XP and try to play the game. But before I go that far, I am going to clear the Event Viewer Applications Log and play the game, if it locks up, there is still a problem but if it does not, then the problem is fixed.
Thanks, Benjamin
