I can't log on to my XP(home edition). Evrything seems fine for booting and loading, but it won't give me the log on window!(The screen has the XP logo, but the log on filed is missing) This happened once 3 weeks ago, when I was using my laptop to give a presentation. You can imagine how embarassing I was! I tried everything, not working. Have to reinstall the whole system. Then this moring, the same thing happened again!!! Does anybody have same trouble? I'm using the HP xt125 laptop. Does anybody know if this is a bug from Microsoft, or from HP? I know HP often tamper with windows. I had a HP desktop before, the floppy disk driver behave ridiculously. Your kind help is highly appreciated!

Is that because I didn't activate my windows? I can'r remember. But even if this is the case, it shouldn't treat me this way. It should remind me to activate. And it should let me be able to activate now. Waiting for your help!
