Hello, I've just setup a new XP machine on my network. but when i try to join my local domain i get this error: Note: This information is intended for a network administrator. (the root zone) For information about correcting this problem, click Help. now i've read that i must install netbios to join a domain in XP and i have done that but still the same error. any ideas on how i can fix this? thanks in advance for your time!

Go into the properties of the network and turn off the firewall.

my firewall isn't running. and i'm a network admin, and i still can't find any reason why it wont find the domain. i even tryed maping the domain to a host name in the HOSTS file. and still nothing.. any more ideas?? thanks again for your time!
